Job summary

Billingsley Company is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces across our properties. This role blends housekeeper and porter duties to support residents and uphold brand standards.

You will perform cleaning of common areas, assist move-ins, handle minor maintenance, restock supplies, and respond to resident requests. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and proper use and storage of chemicals.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, such as light bulb replacement and minor plumbing repairs.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to wear company-provided uniform during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas (hallways, lobbies, elevators, community spaces) to a pristine, welcoming standard.
• Assist with new move-ins by ensuring units are clean and ready for tenants.
• Maintain cleanliness of amenity areas and shared facilities (restrooms, kitchens, laundry).
• Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and safely.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (bulb changes, minor plumbing) and check equipment condition.
• Keep grounds, parking areas, and landscaping in good condition.
• Respond to resident requests and log service tickets in company systems.
• Monitor property for safety hazards and report to management.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies; reorder as needed.
• Keep storerooms organized and up to safety standards.
• Learn and maintain pool systems per company standards.
• Report maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across all areas.
