Job summary

Upbring is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant for its facilities in Canyon Lake, Texas. The part-time role covers general upkeep, minor repairs, and coordination with vendors to keep our environment safe and well-maintained.

The position also involves assisting with housekeeping tasks as needed to support overall facility operations. Responsibilities include painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, vehicle upkeep, and coordination during staff relocations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Texas driver license and auto insurance.
• Experience with general building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 125 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including painting and minor carpentry.
• Handle plumbing, minor electrical repairs, HVAC tasks, and lighting.
• Assist with staff relocations and logistics for furniture.
• Inspect and maintain facility vehicles and ensure registrations.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and safety.
• Maintain barn and animal enclosures, care and health monitoring.
