Job summary

Market America, Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks a Facilities Technician to support the Facilities Manager in maintaining multiple NC properties, equipment, and grounds.

The role includes troubleshooting and performing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks to keep buildings safe and functional. You will assist with moves, cubicle assembly, and general upkeep, with opportunities to lead in the Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of building maintenance experience.
• 1–3 years in construction, painting or related field.
• Lead technician or foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Repairs walls, doors, cabinets, windows, and related items.
• Assists with moving furniture and equipment.
• Assists with cubicle partition assembly and breakdown.
• Maintains a safe, neat, and orderly work space.
• Safely operates hand tools.
• Monitors lock out/tag out equipment keys and supports DC leaders on equipment maintenance.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as needed.
