Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, janitorial duties, grounds work, and snow removal at property sites. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM on-site in Newark, NJ. A valid driver’s license is required, and safety/ OSHA policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and have a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor electrical maintenance.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to perform HVAC filter changes.
• Performs general construction such as painting, carpentry in connection with smaller tenant improvement projects, or general maintenance of property.
• Performs janitorial maintenance including cleaning rooms, common areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and trash removal.
• Performs grounds work / landscaping.
• Snow removal.
• Assist with third party vendor access and coordination.
• May be required to respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• May be required to be on call after-hours for emergency or snow removal efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
