Job summary

Flex is seeking a Facilities Technician 4 in Columbia, SC to maintain, repair and improve building systems and equipment. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot problems, perform preventive maintenance, and install office fixtures across the site under the Facilities Manager.

You should have at least 4 years in maintenance trades, a formal apprenticeship or on-the-job training, and be comfortable with instruments, readings from blueprints, and a range of mechanical and electrical tools.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years in the maintenance trades, a formal apprenticeship or on-the-job training.
• Knowledge of shop math and the ability to use measuring instruments.
• Experience with blueprints or schematics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls and performs in-house repairs.
• Troubleshoots, repairs systems and equipment.
• Installs office fixtures and maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Tests equipment and records results.
