Job summary

Godshall Recruiting is seeking a skilled maintenance professional for a large mixed-use property in the Greenville/Columbia area. You will perform scheduled building maintenance, diagnose issues in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and handle basic repairs to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or construction.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general upkeep.
• Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Basic computer literacy and attention to detail in record keeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled maintenance on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Handle basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Maintain curb appeal through pressure washing and debris removal.
• Log all work in the maintenance tracking system and respond to service requests.
• Assist with installing new systems or equipment as needed.
• Help manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with tenants and staff while working across the building.

What your future day will look like:

• Conduct scheduled maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Handle basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Maintain the property’s curb appeal through tasks like pressure washing and debris removal
• Respond quickly to service requests and log all work in the maintenance tracking system
• Assist with installing new systems or equipment as needed
• Help manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
• Communicate effectively with tenants and staff while working throughout the building
• Be available for emergency calls and participate in safety planning

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
