Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital in northern Wyoming seeks a Facilities Technician to operate and maintain boilers and all related systems, perform preventative maintenance, and support electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm and nurse call systems.

You will train colleagues, document PMs, and assist the Assistant Facilities Manager. The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic knowledge of codes, and the ability to read reports and drawings.

Qualifications

• Certificate from school of technology or college; 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory codes and standards.
• Ability to provide orientation training as preceptor.

Responsibilities

• Safety as a top priority and adherence to safety policies.
• Maintain boilers and auxiliary equipment; inspect and repair related systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and keep PM records up to date.
• Assist in training colleagues and reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager.
