Job summary

Mercy seeks a highly skilled Facility Systems Technician to operate, maintain, and repair boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing systems across Mercy facilities. This role supports hospitals and clinics, focusing on safety and Environment of Care with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HVAC/boiler work, EPA Universal Certification, and valid driver's license. You will read blueprints, coordinate with teams, and uphold quality while delivering excellent

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial experience with HVAC, boilers and refrigeration equipment.
EPA Universal Certification required within 12 months of employment.
Valid driver's license for all Mercy locations and ability to obtain location-specific licenses.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to prioritize work, manage time and materials efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain and repair electrical/plumbing systems and movable equipment.
Ensure safe working environment and support Environment of Care goals for Mercy.
Respond to issues with minimal supervision and provide exceptional customer service.
Work across physical plant areas including walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture.
