Job summary

Metropolitan Library Commission Of Oklahoma County maintains library facilities in Oklahoma City and seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician II to perform complex upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment at the MLS Service Center.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week), with a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and occasional on-call hours. Requires HS diploma, HVAC journeyman license, EPA Universal, and OSHA forklift certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Oklahoma HVAC Mechanical Journeyman License required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• OSHA Forklift Operator certification within 60 days.
• Oklahoma Boiler Operator License highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-routine, complex maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Work at MLS Service Center in Oklahoma City.
• Adhere to safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to resolve facility issues.
