Job summary

OCLC seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain 675,000 sq ft across five buildings on 100 acres. You will handle HVAC, UPS, plumbing, electrical systems, and grounds maintenance in a complex campus environment.

Responsibilities include routine and emergency service, safety compliance, and collaboration with managers and outside vendors. A high school diploma with a technical degree is required, plus relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School degree and a technical degree or equivalent.
• In-depth hardware knowledge of HVAC, microcomputers, UPS and industrial plumbing.
• Certifications: MHE, EPA Refrigerant class I & II, Universal EPA Refrigerant, NEC.
• Within 3 years, MASTER rating in HVAC, industrial plumbing, or electric per jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building mechanical equipment and systems with priority to infrastructure.
• Maintain plumbing: pumps, motors, condenser, chilled water and glycol systems.
• Service water softeners, diagnose trouble, repair well pump controls and equipment.
• Install new plumbing per building codes and maintain structures including roofing and walls.
• Ensure facilities and grounds are free from safety hazards and maintain electrical systems.
