Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician II to maintain property conditions, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers. This role requires strong problem solving and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

You will coordinate with vendors, operate life-safety systems, and support emergency plans while maintaining safety and efficiency across the properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school completion is required.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 (Core, Type I, II & III) is required.
• CPO certification or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• Experience with Entrata, CMMS or related systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform demanding maintenance tasks to protect asset value and safety.
• Oversee operations, diagnostics, and preventive testing for major systems.
• Monitor life safety systems and emergency equipment readiness.
• Assist in creating emergency and disaster preparedness plans.
• Manage key control, and coordinate vendors and schedules with the Facilities Manager.
• Ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
