Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician II in Lawrence, Kansas. You will respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers while ensuring safety and reliability of the property’s systems.

This role requires hands-on problem solving, strong technical skills, and a responsive, team-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment. On-site duties include coordinating with vendors and supporting after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school completion with maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification including EPA 608; CPO or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear communication, safety focus, dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and perform preventive tasks.
• Maintain and repair building systems to ensure safety and operability.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule work with the supervisor.
• Keep logs of work performed, parts used, and follow-up needed.
• Assist with turnovers, inspections, and daily property upkeep.
• Support after-hours emergencies as required.
