Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a Facilities Technician II to perform routine repair work and maintain designated buildings and grounds. This role covers trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general construction to ensure equipment and fixtures stay in good working condition.

Based in Sarasota on a per diem schedule with PTO coverage and special projects, the position offers a company car for site travel.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of and experience in general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, painting, wall repair, equipment and shelving installation, and grounds maintenance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance and Drivers License
• Strong customer service skills and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and/or repair equipment
• Analyze and assess situations and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions
• Assemble and install equipment, working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building construction methods
• Ensure equipment and fixtures are in good working condition

What you’ll Do
