Job summary

TKC Management Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Montreat, NC. This full-time role involves maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems to ensure facility efficiency and client satisfaction.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, respond to client requests, and help install new equipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. English fluency and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of progressive experience in repair and maintenance of a commercial building, educational environment, correctional facility or health care facility preferred.
• Fluent in English to speak, read and write clearly.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Electrical: Maintain lighting fixtures and ballasts.
• Electrical: Repair, replace, and/or maintain 115V outlets.
• Electrical: Assist in more complex repairs and additions to electrical systems.
• Plumbing: Repair toilet flush valves and maintain plumbing throughout the facility.
• HVAC: Change ventilation filters and lubricate motors/pumps/fans.
• General: Perform corrective/preventive maintenance and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• General: Perform painting and janitorial tasks as assigned.
• General: Respond to on-call emergency repair work and maintain safe work areas.
