Job summary

RCR Enterprises in Lexington, NC is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain its buildings, equipment, and building systems. This hands-on role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and support for construction and remodeling projects.

The ideal candidate has experience with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, works well independently and with a team, and takes pride in keeping facilities safe and operational. On-call duties and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade certification preferred.
• Experience in general facilities or building maintenance; 3+ years in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing work.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and building systems; read manuals; interpret blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues including wiring, lighting, outlets, breakers, controls, and motors; perform repairs.
• Service heating, cooling, ventilation equipment; perform seasonal maintenance.
• Repair leaks, drains, fixtures, water heaters, pumps; preventive maintenance.
• Complete general building repairs and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in on-call coverage and overtime as required.
