Job summary

DuGood Credit Union is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Specialist to maintain and repair branch locations in Beaumont, TX. You will handle day-to-day maintenance, coordinate with third-party vendors, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

The role requires 2–3 years of general maintenance experience, basic HVAC/electrical/carpentry skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call after hours.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years general maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work orders and updates using the electronic work log system.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to maintenance requests.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs (pressure washing, weatherization, parking lot upkeep).
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, locks, and other building components.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and special facility projects.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure quality work and fair pricing.
• Support disaster recovery and emergency response efforts.
