Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe operates a network of cafés and bakeries inspired by Eastern Mediterranean traditions. The Facilities Technician will perform repairs on assets and basic equipment, supporting small maintenance projects across locations while working with the Facilities Manager and café teams.

The role is full-time and field-based, with potential evening, weekend, and on-call requirements to ensure safe, code-compliant operations in all locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or construction experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and complete assignments efficiently.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and required repairs and maintenance at Tatte locations.
• Perform minor repairs to café infrastructure, including carpentry, doors, furniture, and tile work.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs, maintenance, installations, and projects.
• Partner with Operations, Culinary, IT, Food Safety, and Beverage teams to support café operations.
• Educate café managers on preventive care, repairs, and maintenance within their buildings.
• Follow food safety procedures when repairing, replacing, installing, or maintaining equipment.
