Job summary

Dismas Charities, Inc. is seeking a Property Services Technician to support the Regional Property Services Manager in keeping centers and the corporate office safe, clean, and functional. The role covers routine repairs, maintenance tasks, and general upkeep across locations.

The position involves travel to local centers, on-the-job training, and occasional overnight stays. A high school diploma or GED and relevant maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of facility maintenance experience preferred; entry-level considered.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local centers.

Responsibilities

• Assists with repairs to building structures, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance checks and reports safety concerns.
• Assists third-party contractors on site by providing access, materials, and basic help as directed.
• Records completed repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Provides updates on task status and urgent facility needs to the Regional Property Services Manager.
• Monitors supply levels and submits supply requests following procedures.
• Supports multiple centers by completing assigned tasks on site.
• Moves furniture and assists with event setup at the corporate office and local venues.
