Job summary

Dismas Charities, Inc. is seeking a Property Services Technician to support the Regional Property Services Manager in keeping centers and the corporate office safe, clean, and in good repair. You will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep while building trade skills across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five years of experience in facility maintenance or related field preferred; entry-level with willingness to learn considered.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local centers.
• Trade certification not required but pursuing training/certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs to building structures, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC systems and basic repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, filters, fixtures, patching and painting walls).
• Participate in facility walk-throughs and preventive maintenance checks; report safety concerns to Regional Property Services Manager.
• Assist third-party contractors on site with access, materials, and basic help.
• Record repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory in logs.
• Provide updates on task status and urgent facility needs to the Regional Property Services Manager.
• Monitor supply levels and submit supply requests per purchasing procedures.
• Support multiple centers by completing assigned tasks on site as directed.
• Move furniture and assist with event setup at the corporate office and local venues.
• Participate in on-the-job training and safety instruction.
• Travel to local centers; occasional overnight travel to out-of-town facilities.
• Rotational on-call responsibilities; other duties as assigned.
