Dismas Charities Inc is seeking a Maintenance Worker to oversee the upkeep of the physical plant. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a 1st shift schedule including weekends, with a pay rate of $22.84 per hour.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years old, and maintenance experience. OSHA safety compliance and driving requirements apply, with potential certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Defensive Driving Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, repair, and upkeep of the physical plant including painting, carpentry, and related tasks.
• Conduct landscaping and grounds maintenance on a regular basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections; report needs to supervisor.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety guidelines while performing duties.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance work and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Possess reliable transportation; travel to sites for maintenance as required.
