Job summary

Bedrock seeks an on-site maintenance professional for its Cleveland portfolio of commercial and residential properties. You will handle daily operations, preventative maintenance, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems to ensure tenant satisfaction and optimal site performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, plus strong problem solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in commercial or residential building maintenance (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• HVAC unit maintenance experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize emergency calls.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, and replaces equipment.
• Preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Snow removal and salting outdoors.
• Exterior grounds upkeep, window washing, and cleaning.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly.
• Complete work to ensure tenant safety and site operation.
• Prioritize service calls and follow up on completion.
• Coordinate with contractors and tenants for outside work orders.
• Order parts and maintain stock and inventory.
