Job summary

ISS Facility Services / Guckenheimer is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Emeryville, CA to help keep client buildings safe and reliable. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on building systems, respond to escalations, and coordinate with the Site Operations Manager to ensure service quality across hard, soft and operational lines.

The role requires basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC skills, the ability to work independently or on a team, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational/technical education required.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid state driver’s license; potential local travel.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and fixtures.
• Handle reactive maintenance and repairs.
