Job summary

Providence is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to care for water systems, fixtures, sewer lines, and mechanical equipment in a Senior Village setting. You will help with remodeling, floor care, and resident turnover while supporting adherence to Brookside guidelines.

Qualifications

Driving may be necessary; must comply with state driving laws.
Graduate of trade school or technical courses in plumbing, air conditioning or heating; may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain, inspect and repair water distribution systems, fixtures, sewer systems, fire extinguishing systems, fire drills, and mechanical equipment.
Perform minor remodeling, painting, and repairs.
Responsible for floor care and apartment turnover.
Ensure building requirements are current per Administrative Rules for Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities (Brookside specific).
Assist in special projects throughout the facility.
Assist in moving residents' personal property within the Senior Village complex.
Participate in irrigation care.
Serve on the Security and Fire Responding Team and the Safety Committee.
