Job summary

Community Action Marin is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join Site Operations & Compliance. You will perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and keep CAM facilities safe, clean, and functional across sites.

Qualifications

Min 1–2 years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or facilities support.
Basic knowledge in painting, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry.

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical work and basic installations.
Conduct preventive maintenance and assist in renovations and remodeling projects.
Clear clogged drains and perform basic masonry or patching work.
Address minor HVAC issues (filters, thermostat checks) as directed.
Support facility safety and cleanliness by removing trash and debris and hauling to disposal sites.
Respond to urgent maintenance requests and perform routine inspections and checklists.
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; report shortages or needs.
