Job summary

Community Aid Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain facilities, perform carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs, and support a preventative maintenance program. Candidates should have experience in facility repairs, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to communicate needs clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Must be able to travel between all CommunityAid locations and pass required checks.

Responsibilities

• Handle facility repairs as problems arise (carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program for all facilities.
• Ensure work complies with industry standards, OSHA and legal requirements.
• Communicate material/equipment needs and progress of ongoing projects.
• Perform periodic inspections and report issues to management.
