Job summary

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, seeks a Facilities Technician for a client in Costa Mesa, CA. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related facility systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support building infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has HVAC or universal license, electrical/piping/plumbing experience, reads blueprints, uses diagnostic tools, and is flexible with responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HVAC or universal license required.
• Commercial/industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical, piping, or plumbing systems.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and building automation systems.
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Perform preventive maintenance for energy efficiency and safety.
• Diagnose complex issues using BAS, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain electrical systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Support installation and maintenance of plumbing, fire safety systems, and building infrastructure.

Our client, a leading organization in industrial and commercial facilities management, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting maintenance and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Pay Range: $38 to $41 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility systems equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal energy efficiency and safety of facility systems.
• Diagnose complex system issues using building automation systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain electrical systems, including low and medium voltage power distribution and lighting systems, ensuring safety compliance.
• Support installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing, fire safety systems, and other building infrastructure.

What's Needed?

• HVAC or Universal License, with commercial or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in electrical, piping, plumbing, or related technical fields.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse facility systems efficiently.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and using diagnostic tools.
• Flexible schedule and openness to additional responsibilities as needed.
