Job summary

Our client in the medical device repair industry is seeking an Electrical Repair Technician for 12-month contract in San Antonio, TX. 100% onsite work with a pay range of $18 to $20 per hour on W-2.

Responsibilities include device repairs, upgrades, preventive maintenance, QA checks, and providing phone support to customers and partners. Associates degree required and MS Office proficiency; 1 year of related experience preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related repair environment.
• Associates degree required.

• Execute quality control procedures for repaired VAC devices prior to customer release.
• Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party providers.
• Support R&D, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
• Maintain a clean workspace and comply with safety regulations.

As an Electrical Repair Technician, you will be part of the Technical Service Department supporting device repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

$18 to $20 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and external medical VAC equipment.
• Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to releasing them back to customers.
• Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
• Support research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, monitor tools and equipment, and adhere to safety regulations.

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related repair environment.
• Associates degree
• Ability to utilize various tools and equipment for repair functions.
• Knowledge of electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Willingness to meet physical demands and work scheduled shifts independently.
