Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Facility Maintenance and HVAC Technician in Los Angeles, CA. You will support building operations and occupant comfort, performing preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and addressing service requests.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, trade-school or union training, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and opportunities to collaborate with a professional maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing safety and productivity.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting, power distribution, heating/cooling equipment, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assemble, disassemble, move, and reconfigure furniture, fixtures, and equipment to support space changes.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors while minimizing disruption and communicating plans to occupants.

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Facility Maintenance and HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance and HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and occupant comfort. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance and HVAC Technician

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $28-$31hr

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal building performance and occupant comfort
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing issues that impact workplace safety and productivity
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on building systems including lighting, power distribution, heating and cooling equipment, and plumbing fixtures
• Assemble, disassemble, move, and reconfigure furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to support space changes, office relocations, and workplace reconfigurations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors while minimizing disruption to daily operations and communicating proactively with occupants about planned work

What's Needed?

• 2-4 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
• Trade school, union training, military service, or college is desirable
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive
• Strong customer service skills
