Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II to maintain and repair the property, perform preventive tasks, and prepare apartments for turnovers. You will monitor building systems, coordinate with vendors, and support safety and emergency plans in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608, CPO or plan to obtain, and strong communication. A valid driver's license is required, with flexibility for after-hours emergencies and travel as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade school completion.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.
• Ability to work with security systems and pass a background/drive history as required.
• Proficiency with computer programs related to position (Entrata, CMMS, BAS/DC System).

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform post-maintenance checks and preventive tasks.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor life safety systems and assist with emergency planning.
• Coordinate schedules with Facilities Manager or Supervisor and vendors.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance/repair to meet service requests.
