Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Texas is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems to keep the club safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

Experience with building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and boilers.
Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Experience in facilities/building maintenance or engineering in commercial or recreational settings.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems
Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems
Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed
Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS
Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience
