Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems.

The role ensures safe, compliant, and fully operational facilities through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting within a recreational environment. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of facilities maintenance experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to manage work orders in a CMMS,

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Technical or trade school certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems.
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience.
