Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Indiana seeks a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to inspect, maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, monitor pool water chemistry, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while keeping CMMS records.

This role requires 3–4 years of facilities maintenance experience and certifications such as Boiler Operator, EPA CFC, and CPO/AFO.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• 3–4 years of facilities maintenance or engineering experience.
• Boiler Operator / Stationary Engineer License (state-specific)
• EPA CFC Certification / HVAC Certification
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems.
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS.
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience.
