Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking an Operations Service Center Facilities Support Engineer I (FSE) to manage major incidents, monitor EMPS/BMS alarms, and provide hands-on remote troubleshooting. The role requires shift work in a 24/7 OSC and collaboration across teams to maintain facilities data integrity and service levels.

Responsibilities include coordinating incident bridges, responding to facility requests, troubleshooting issues, and documenting resolutions for SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of data center or critical environment experience.
• Experience with CMMS, ticketing and monitoring platforms such as ScienceLogic or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of CMDB and monitoring systems (BMS/EPMS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Major Incident bridges and produce incident review reports.
• Respond to facility requests and alarms with appropriate actions.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and provide detailed escalation notes.
• Maintain knowledge of QTS products and services, including ServiceNow and Nuvolo.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and escalations as needed.
• Ensure ticket status, follow-through, and closure; communicate with customers.
