Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Facility Operations Center Engineer to support 24/7 monitoring of the data center’s physical infrastructure. The role focuses on responding to critical alarms, monitoring systems, and performing change management to ensure reliability.

The position requires experience documenting technical issues and a customer-facing IT background, plus TS/SCI with Poly clearance. You will work in shifts to support continuous operation and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical support experience or a related engineering degree.
• Experience documenting technical customer issues and 1+ year of customer-facing IT or physical security systems work.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which you perform AWS work.

Responsibilities

• Respond, acknowledge, investigate, and dispatch critical alarms.
• Monitor facility infrastructure platform.
• Perform change management tasks.
• Create and issue tickets.
• Follow verbal and written directions.
