Job summary

QTS Data Centers is hiring an Operations Service Center Facilities Support Engineer I. You will manage major incidents, monitor EMPS/BMS alarms, provide remote troubleshooting, and support change control and data integrity for facilities programs.

The role requires shift work in a 7x24x365 operations center, with potential change in shifts based on business needs. Strong CMMS, ServiceNow, and Nuvolo experience is valued.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in data center or critical environment.
• 1+ year with CMMS, ticketing, monitoring platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, ScienceLogic).
• Experience with BMS/EPMS monitoring.
• Familiarity with CMDB and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Major Incident bridge and create IRR.
• Respond to facility requests and alarms.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and escalation as needed.
• Maintain ticket status and ensure timely closure.
• Collaborate on improvement of processes and knowledge of QTS products.
