Job summary

Landmark Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Knoxville, TN to oversee our facilities program and lead the Facilities Team. You will manage preventive maintenance, capital projects, inspections, and vendor relationships to sustain asset value.

You will coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, schedules, and on-call emergencies, ensuring safety and excellent resident service while maintaining high standards of curb appeal and operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• CPO and EPA certifications required.
• Working knowledge of Entrata or similar property management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgement.
• Clear, effective communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Weekend/on-call availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned service requests and repairs promptly.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and curb appeal opportunities.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships to support capital projects and annual turn contracts.
• Order and manage inventory of supplies, parts, and tools within budget.
• Communicate regularly with Community Manager regarding maintenance or budget issues.
• Assist with budgeting and spending in maintenance category items.
• Ensure completion of the Facilities Plan and Preventative Maintenance program; perform inspections and safety checks.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and development of Facilities Team members.
• Participate in on-call schedule for emergency maintenance after hours.
