Job summary

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the personnel management of custodial, maintenance and grounds employees assigned to the building
• Daily care and cleaning of the building
• Maintenance operations requiring the spectrum from minor hardware to major overhauls of the mechanical system
• Budgeting, requisitioning and purchasing procedures
• Building security during operating hours
• Maintains inventory of all tools and equipment assigned to maintenance, grounds and custodial employees
• Coordinates all matters of mutual interest with the Plant Facilities Director and School Maintenance Crew Leader
• Evaluations of subordinates and substitute custodial staff as required
• Submittal of the monthly vandalism report to the Office of Buildings and Grounds
