Kingstonville, LLC is a management consultancy, with core competencies in Program Management, Risk Management and Administrative Management in support of mission driven programs for our federal clients.
Kingstonville is seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist to join our team. This candidate will support facility operations and administrative functions to ensure the smooth execution of office moves, furniture installation, event support, and supply management. The successful candidate will work on-site at our client’s Washington, D.C. location and report to Kingstonville’s designated Project Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install furniture and reconfigurations, including, but not limited to the following: freestanding, panel-hung systems, and modular furniture disassembly, relocation, reassembly, and reconfigurations; the disassembly and reassembly ofshelving. The hanging of pictures, whiteboards and other items of various sizes. All furniture installations and reconfigurations shall be in accordance with Government- furnished concept plans. Government-furnished concept plans must be returned to the COR within three business days of project completion.
- Conduct moving activities, including, but not limited to, moving miscellaneous free- standing furniture items; file record boxes; employee property such as boxed files, records, and computers; equipment; filing cabinets of various types and sizes; boxes of paper to a different location; delivering and picking up empty moving boxes; minor furniture repair; and disposal of designated items such as removal of trash from work sites. All furniture installations and reconfigurations shall be in accordance with Government-furnished concept plans.
- Provide Event support activities, including, but not limited to, the delivery, setup, teardown, and pickup of tables and chairs for special events. All furniture installations and reconfigurations shall be in accordance with Government-furnished concept plans.
- Ensure all moving service activities are performed in a safe manner and protect Governmentproperty.
- Provide administrative support activities, including, but not limited to the following:
- Responding to facilities request either in person or telephonically at 3CON facility
- Reviewing the Admin facilities mailbox daily and responding to request.
- Delivering of copy paper and office supplies to offices within the building as necessary.
- Restocking the EOUSA supply room as needed and notifying EOUSA Facility Management and Support Services Staff (FASS) Assistant Director (AD) or a designate when supplies need to be ordered.
- Preparing supply orders for review and approval by EOUSA FASS AD or designate.

- Technical training in assembly and disassembly of all commercial types of furniture andspecialized equipment.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and communication skills.
- Able to read, understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions andfurniture drawing layouts.
- Familiarity with Federal Government and agency-specific property management rulesand regulations.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, excluding Federal Holidays, from 8:30 to 5pm.
- Must be able to work up to 10 hours of overtime per week when required.
- Must be able to pass a minimum background investigation (MBI).
