Job summary

Sisters of the Humility of Mary is seeking a full-time Facilities Services Manager to oversee the maintenance department's daily operations and assignments. The role leads a dedicated team, focusing on teamwork, safety, and excellence within a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

The manager will supervise, assist with, and schedule daily maintenance tasks, troubleshoot electro-mechanical and building systems, coordinate with contractors, and promote safe work practices while supporting budget

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary certificate.
• Working knowledge of steam and chilled-water mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily work of maintenance personnel to ensure productivity and quality.
• Operate and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with on-campus contractors and promote safe work practices.
• Train and orient staff; participate in preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist with purchasing parts and supplies; maintain department records.
• Prepare and implement operating and capital budgets; conduct employee evaluations.
• Support the Director of Facilities Management and act in their absence; participate in on-call rotation.
