Job summary

Roof Above seeks a Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across three Charlotte locations, including two shelters and a day center. You’ll ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness of facilities, manage preventive maintenance, coordinate contractors, and support capital projects.

Collaborating with program staff and leadership, you will prioritize work orders, monitor safety systems, and maintain positive relationships with residents and partners while upholding Roof Above’s mission

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in facility maintenance or property management.
• Experience with shelters or service environments preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Manage contractors and capital projects.
• Prepare for inspections and safety compliance.
