Job summary

Hospice Alliance Inc. is seeking a Facilities Specialist to coordinate the building and grounds maintenance for the eight-bed hospice campus and attached administrative building.

The role ensures proper environmental controls, records management, and safety compliance while supporting events and emergencies. The ideal candidate has prior maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage contracted services and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and grounds maintenance or similar facility operations.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating contracted services (snow removal, HVAC, electrical/plumbing).
• Commitment to customer service and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain digital records for contracts, assets, warranties, and licenses using standard office software.
• Monitor and adjust climate controls as required to ensure comfort and safety.
• Coordinate with IT, security vendors and contractors for door locks and access controls.
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with fire and environmental regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of interior and exterior structures, ordering supplies and coordinating vendor work.
