Job summary

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support residents' daily needs, coordinate neighborhood activities and act as a liaison between General Services, residents and staff.

The role requires strong communication, at least 3 years in facilities or office work, and a valid driver's license. You will oversee outside contractors, audit facilities, and help ensure maintenance and cleanliness across our community in Fairfax, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of building systems.
• Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with new residents to explain the operation of each department within General Services.
• Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences.
• Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects.
• Audit all facilities for proper maintenance, repair, and cleanliness; coordinates needed repairs with the appropriate department(s).
• Conduct surveys on services recently performed for residents and other departments.
• Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods.
