Job Title: Facilities Project Manager

Reports to: Director of Maintenance

FSLA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Project Manager. Reporting to the Director, Project Management, this individual will be responsible for managing the development of domestic infrastructure for Trulieve product lines in the US. They will be the driving force for converting the company’s strategic goals into action, working across the organization to deliver results. The role will include routine communications with senior leadership and be highly visible. A successful candidate will be solutions-oriented, with a bias for action and a tenacious approach to problem solving.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead projects from the concept stage until completion
  2. Manage contractors
  3. Lead new construction and upgrade projects
  4. Develop list of punch out items for contractors
  5. Lead project meetings and provide updates to all stakeholders
  6. Manage end-to-end project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking, issue escalation, and change management for product lines in the US
  7. Lead cross-functional teams encompassing infrastructure/facilities, business capabilities, and product development
  8. Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration, serving as liaison between the Project Team, functional managers, and corporate leadership
  9. Engage external contractors and service providers, developing integrated plans and risk management strategies
  10. Organize project risk identification, consulting subject matter experts for accurate assessment. Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate to senior leadership when required
  11. Provide routine status updates and coordinate information to the manager
  12. Implement and supervise project governance practices established by the Project Team
  13. Develop functional specs, machine lists, and detailed product lists for everything in the facilities
  14. Prepare, maintain, and monitor the master project schedule and budget. Resolve issues and escalate roadblocks for prompt resolution. Master project schedule to include construction, staffing, training, and ramp-up of the facility
  15. Help coordinate to ensure full compliance with Quality Assurance processes and CGMP/FDA regulations
  16. Conduct project risk analysis and develop/implement actions to mitigate risks
  17. Ensure rigorous PMI methodology is applied across all projects
  18. Ensure full compliance with applicable labor laws, environmental regulations, and work safety requirements
  19. Some travel will be required (30%)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience (bonus points for prior work in highly regulated industry)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial and Commercial construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of building codes and best practices for construction
  • Experience dealing with all trades and a good knowledge of all technical trades
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus
  • High level of comfort dealing with ambiguity in fast-moving environments
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and creativity in problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience developing materials for senior management
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Extensive knowledge of project governance frameworks and best practices
  • Willing and able to travel throughout the US (< 50% travel required)
  • Experience with project management software and AutoCAD

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
