Finance Project Manager - Factory Automation Systems

This position reports tothe Digital Industries Factory Automation Finance Manager. The successful candidate will interface with internal and external customers to execute mid-level complex projects. This position allows for remote work, with some work travel required.

We are looking for a Project Manager for Factory Automation Systems. This position will be remote and can be basedanywhere in the continental US.

You’llmake an impact by:

  • Manage full project P&L responsibility and cash flow performance; perform month-end closing process activities.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts of Profit and Loss Statement, Statement of Financial Position (balance sheet), and Cash Flow on a yearly and monthly basis, analyzing and keeping record of FC assumptions to explain deviations to make sure forecast goals are attained.
  • Ensure clean and accurate record keeping of the financial documents of the project in adherence to the Company’s policies and Financial Reporting Guidelines.
  • Support the Project Manager in identifying, reporting, avoiding or mitigating non-conformance costs; supports the implementation of lessons learned into their project and the organization in general.
  • Be the trusted partner for the Project Team by Collaborating, Leading, and Educating team members from other areas on all financial and compliance topics.
  • Establishing a framework for CPM responsibilities and Bid Management.
  • Support project stakeholders on day-to-day activities
  • Support CPM team on invoicing and coordination of invoicing with an emphasis on
    managing financial backlog.
  • Provide Financial Invoice Summaries and reconciliation support to the stakeholders.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges.
  • Applies skills to resolve complex problems to ensure the successful delivery of projects
    under customer deliverables and agreed-upon contract terms.
  • Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.
  • Develops risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through the application of
    concepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned.
  • Complies with Siemens policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ownership of the project with minimal intervention from Sales.
  • Will assist and support in warranty related claims while balancing the best bottom-line results and customer experience.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years ofprior Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience within the Factory Automation field.
  • 5+ years of experience with the application and concepts of factory automation products and industrial control panel design.
  • Experience with SAP Project Modules and exposure to Tableau.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills to stakeholders on various factory automation products.
  • Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files, including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, and Submittal documents.

  • The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720 and 10% annual incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
