Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) seeks a Project Engineer (Facilities) to support the ARS NBAF Engineering Project Management Team. You will provide on-site project management, develop engineering scope packages, and aid in design, construction, and O&M services for multiple facilities and operations projects.

The role requires collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, travel as needed, and the ability to manage technical assessments and SOWs.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum two years of professional engineering project management experience in design, construction, and operations & maintenance for facilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
• Technical background to perform a variety of engineering functions for repair/maintenance projects.
• Experience working on agricultural research facilities and laboratories is highly desired (BSL-4).
• Motor Vehicle or CDL is required.
• Public Trust Position; able to pass government background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services to assist with development of engineering scope packages and meetings.
• Assist with design/construction phases and operations & maintenance services.
• Develop engineering site assessments and provide recommended design/construction solutions.
• Develop bid-ready Statements of Work (SOWs) and support contracting during Bid phase.
