Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an entry-level Facilities Project and Safety Specialist to support planning, coordination, and execution of facilities projects while assisting with safety compliance and maintenance tasks.

You will work with Facilities and Safety leadership to track safety initiatives, review drawings, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to Lean and 5S improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.) or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of facilities/engineering/project coordination experience.
• Basic ability to interpret drawings and layouts preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, tracking, and execution of facilities projects including CapEx and operational initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and trackers.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes, scheduling, procurement, and project updates.
• Support project milestones including procurement, installation, and closeout.
• Assist in developing facility layouts, space planning, and basic design concepts.
• Review drawings, submittals, and project documentation under supervision.
• Support infrastructure planning, including electrical, racking, and equipment placement.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance team including CAD documentation.
• Assist with maintenance-related tasks to support facility operations.
• Help identify recurring facility issues and support improvement solutions.
• Support internal event setup and facility-related logistics.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager to support safety programs and compliance.
• Track safety actions, audits, corrective measures, and incident documentation.
• Help coordinate safety improvements such as signage, mirrors, and risk mitigation.
