Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist in Columbus, OH to oversee the facility maintenance software (ServiceChannel) and manage regional work orders. The role supports field leadership, optimizes resources, and delivers strong customer service while adhering to Safelite's maintenance processes.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance programs, reviewing cost proposals, and partnering with vendors to minimize store interruptions. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred for some roles.
• 1–3 years in a customer-service based environment.
• 1–3 years facility maintenance or property management experience preferred.
• Capable of handling detailed data in a high-volume setting.
• Proficient with computer-based software systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ServiceChannel work orders from initiation to invoicing and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with maintenance leaders, vendors, and project consultants to administer programs.
• Guide field partners on scope of work and cost optimization.
• Monitor activities to ensure quality, control costs, and accelerate resolutions.
• Administer ServiceChannel, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Support sustainability, asset management, and facility condition programs.
• Visit sites to assess conditions and identify needs.
• Provide data analytics to leadership and maintain cost summaries.
