Job summary

L-H Battery Company in Jeffersonville, Ohio, is seeking a Facilities Production Support Part Lead to head the PSS operations on assigned shifts. You will mentor technicians and contracted operators, manage safety and environment compliance, and drive maintenance programs across SRP, CESS, HOB, and related equipment.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related discipline, 5+ years of relevant experience, CMMS (Maximo) proficiency, and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading technical crews and managing contracted services.
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo) asset management system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment operations, maintenance, and repair activities for technicians and contracted operators.
• Direct Production Support staffing and daily task leadership across shifts.
• Ensure safe operation of SRP, CESS, HOB and environmental equipment, with regulatory compliance.
• Develop CMMS, preventive maintenance schedules, daily checks, and KPI reporting.
• Engage in PSM and MOC activities with team members; address safety and equipment concerns.
• Create presentations/reports for leadership visibility on PSS status.
• Maintain and update SOP library for PSS activities.
• Manage budgets for maintenance, parts, and facility assets replacement.
• Coordinate contracted services for projects, maintenance, and waste disposal.
