Job summary

L-H Battery Company in Jeffersonville, Ohio, seeks a Facilities Production Support Services (PSS) Part Lead who will head the PSS operations on assigned shifts. You will mentor technicians and contractors, manage daily tasks, and drive environmental compliance across SRP, CESS, HOB, and related equipment.

You will develop maintenance plans, lead KPI reviews, and ensure SOPs are current while coordinating budget and contracted services to meet safety and production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience managing technical crews and contracted services.
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo) or similar asset management software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost reporting.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment operations, maintenance, and repair activities for technicians and contracted operators.
• Manage PSS staffing and provide leadership for daily tasks and projects.
• Ensure safe operation of SRP, CESS, HOB, and environmental equipment per permits.
• Develop CMMS, preventive maintenance schedules, and KPI reporting.
• Support PS M and MOC activities and drive safety improvements.
• Prepare presentations and reports for department leadership.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for PSS activities.
• Manage budgets for maintenance, spare parts, and facility assets.
• Coordinate contracted services for projects and waste disposal.

We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it!**Summary:**The Facilities Production Support Services (PSS) Part Lead is an experienced individual who will head the PSS operations on assigned shifts. This role will manage, mentor, and develop the PSS team of associates and contractors through daily workload assignments, training, project management, environmental compliance, and budget development.
