Job summary

Newmark Group in the United States is seeking an experienced facilities manager to lead a team and personally oversee select sites. You will direct maintenance programs, manage budgets and reporting, and drive EHS compliance to maximize client value.

You will supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate with client teams on long-term strategies and capital projects. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate related field, or 5–7 years of related experience.
• CPM and/or RPA designation preferred credentials.
• Strong supervisory skills with leadership/management facilities experience in office, lab, industrial plant environments or data centers.
• Experience with Integrated Management Systems and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct, communicate, and oversee maintenance programs for interior and exterior facilities.
• Supervise staff to ensure services meet contractual, performance and quality expectations.
• Prepare performance reviews and salary recommendations for direct reports.
• Provide monthly operating reports including portfolio performance, budgets, and initiatives.
• Oversee environmental health and safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor contracts, RFPs, and service agreements; monitor performance.
• Act as on-site point of contact for visitors, auditors, and clients as needed.
• Support project activities such as capital improvements and energy efficiency efforts.
